Sustainability is a broad subject with many definitions. Each business had their own definition for Sustainability.
But in PEXIMCO since its beginning in 1990, sustainability has been at the heart of our business. It is in our religion to source only from the best suppliers who sustainably manage their forests and make a positive contribution to human health and the positive environment footprint.
At PEXIMCO we focus on quality over quantity so that we can offer our customers the most beautiful sustainable timber there is, that will last for generations to come.
The longevity and the growth cycle of these sustainable managed timber means that it is a better choice for our environment and our economy. Timber itself ensures that it is reusable and recyclable at any given time period.

As a material Timber has Net Zero carbon emissions. Wood/Timber Absorb Carbon. Wood is the only sustainable and renewable building material that organically exists on this planet.
By choosing to build with sustainable timber, we people and businesses are helping to preserve and grow the world's forests, combat climate change and mental health. Trees absorb carbon dioxide while they grow which provides oxygen for us to breathe. This carbon is stored in wood until it is released either by natural causes.
This brings us to the second point which is Wood/Timber Store Carbon. For every cubic meter of wood used in construction, one tonne of carbon dioxide is absorbed and stored. This means even after transportation timber will often have a negative carbon footprint.
We believe that sustainability should not be seen as an end goal or destination, but as an ongoing process of learning and improving. Thats why, in PEXIMCO we believe that with our products we are helping people to live a sustainable life.
